Senior Oracle Developer

Job Summary

To support a leading public sector organization, the remote Senior Oracle Developer will design, develop, and maintain Oracle database solutions, optimizing performance and collaborating with cross-functional teams over a 12+ month engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Oracle database solutions using Oracle 19c, PL/SQL, and SQL*Plus
• Optimize and troubleshoot complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, and SQL queries
• Develop Unix/Linux shell scripts to automate database operations and support data warehouse initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer
• Strong experience with Oracle performance tuning and advanced features
• 3+ years of experience developing Unix/Linux Shell Scripts
• 2+ years of experience with Data Warehouse concepts and ETL processes
