Senior Oracle Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the remote Senior Oracle Developer will manage database installation, configuration, and performance optimization while ensuring data integrity and recovery strategies over a one-year contract.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various database management systems
• Design efficient database schemas and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity
• Monitor and enhance database performance by fine-tuning SQL queries and addressing performance bottlenecks

Required qualifications

• 5 years of programming experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer
• 3 years of experience creating Shell Scripts for invoking SQL scripts
• 5 years of experience with Oracle performance-related features including Query Optimizer and Execution Plans
• 5 years of client-server application development experience using Oracle 19c and PL/SQL
• 2 years of experience with data warehouse concepts and ETL processes
