Senior Oracle Exadata Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Oracle Exadata Migration Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Oracle Exadata migrations and production operations, focusing on architecture, performance, and HA/DR considerations
• Perform Oracle DBA responsibilities in Oracle environments, including RAC, ASM, Data Guard, patching, backup/recovery, and performance tuning
• Plan and execute migrations from traditional platforms to Exadata, including validation and post-migration support

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle database experience, including administration, migration, and production support
• Strong Exadata experience, including architecture, performance characteristics, and operational support
• Proven experience with Oracle DBA skills, particularly in 19c+, RAC, ASM, and Data Guard
• Experience with application/client-side Oracle connectivity knowledge, including JDBC and TNS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience
