Senior Originator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Originator to source and advance mission-driven real estate investments focused on affordable housing transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and develop a pipeline of affordable housing and community development transactions
• Lead transactions from initial sourcing through closing and transition to asset management
• Coordinate with Fund Management and Investor Relations for pricing, capital availability, and fund-specific approvals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in affordable housing finance or commercial real estate lending
• Experience with affordable housing capital stacks and familiarity with LIHTC structures
• Strong understanding of real estate finance fundamentals and ability to evaluate financial models
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple transactions and build relationships with stakeholders
