Senior OSP Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior OSP Engineer responsible for overseeing projects related to outside plant facilities in a fiber-focused business.

Key Responsibilities

• Support leadership in reporting and escalations while providing guidance and training to internal and external teams
• Proactively review outside plant facilities for necessary upgrades and enhancements, and coordinate with utilities for project design and construction
• Maintain accurate cable records, apply for required permits, and attend pre-construction meetings for project designs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience, or a minimum of three years' experience in an outside plant position
• At least three years of telecommunications outside plant construction project management and inventory management experience
• Minimum of three years' experience in ROW, private easement, and permitting with local, state, and federal entities
• Demonstrated knowledge of outside plant design, cable count layout, and capacities
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record are required
