Senior Packaging Specialist

Job Summary

To support sustainable packaging initiatives, the remote Senior Packaging Specialist will manage the implementation of innovative packaging solutions, collaborate on sustainability data reporting, and provide technical support across functions while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert for sustainable packaging initiatives, driving renovations and new product introductions
• Collaborate on packaging sustainability data for local and global reporting requirements
• Provide front-line support to factories and manage the Material Qualification process in a cross-functional environment

Required Qualifications:

• BS or MS degree in Food Science, Material Science, Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 7+ years of relevant packaging industry experience in the food and beverage sector
• Strong understanding of packaging sustainability requirements both locally and globally
• Clear knowledge of packaging design, materials, equipment, and systems
• Experience with project life cycle deliverables and regulatory compliance standards
