Senior Paralegal

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Paralegal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial legal research and provide a summary of the results and/or drafting a preliminary response to the question being researched
• Engaged in administration of legal matters based on current work assigned to the paralegal
• Interface directly with business units or third parties - such as participating with attorney in meetings on substantive matters, fielding telephone calls and emails directly from business unit contacts or third parties

Required Qualifications:

• High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent
• Five to ten years' experience as a paralegal in a law firm or in a corporate setting with solid experience with banking, mortgage banking, real estate, litigation or related legal discipline based on area of specialty
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program is preferred
