Job Summary
Providing comprehensive legal support to the Department of Legal Affairs, the full-time Senior Paralegal - Alaska Licensed will manage legal matters, assist attorneys with various legal tasks, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate legal matters, ensuring all necessary documentation and information are available for attorneys
- Draft, review, and manage a variety of legal documents and agreements, including contracts and governance documentation
- Conduct legal research and assist with regulatory filings, maintaining compliance with healthcare laws and internal policies
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in ABA-approved Paralegal Studies Program or a certificate from a paralegal program with at least 24 semester units in law-related courses
- 5 years of paralegal experience in a relevant practice area with an in-house legal team or equivalent experience in a law practice setting
- 5 years of demonstrated experience performing substantive legal work for multiple attorneys in a relevant practice area
