Job Summary
Advising the Head of the Secretariat, the full-time Senior Partnerships Advisor will strengthen the Joint SDG Fund's partnerships and blended finance strategies, focusing on resource mobilization and engagement with development finance institutions and non-traditional partners in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and strategic advancement of partnerships with non-Member State stakeholders to secure funding and collaboration opportunities
- Provide strategic advice on the development and implementation of joint programmes, ensuring alignment with partnership frameworks
- Facilitate blended finance innovation and co-creation processes with external partners and UN Country Teams to enhance programme design
Required qualifications
- An advanced university degree (Master's) in International Development, Political Science, Business Management, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with additional qualifying experience
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in strategic partnerships and relationship management with development finance institutions and international organizations
- Proven ability to secure funding and develop proposals for large projects focused on sustainable development outcomes
- Extensive experience in managing strategic partnerships, particularly in blended finance and UN pooled financing mechanisms
- Fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of another UN official language is desirable
