Senior Patching Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Patching Engineer to lead enterprise-wide patch and vulnerability remediation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise patch management frameworks
• Lead remediation efforts based on vulnerability scanning findings and coordinate emergency patching
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline patch deployment and ensure compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure operations, or security operations
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise patch management tools
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows Server, Linux distributions) and networking fundamentals
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
