Job Summary

Providing essential financial clearance services for patient accounts, the full-time Senior Patient Access Advocate will manage insurance verification, authorization, and documentation to ensure accurate billing in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Achieve exceptional patient experiences by addressing complaints and educating patients on insurance benefits
  • Perform patient registration and manage the accurate collection of demographic and financial information
  • Quality review accounts to ensure compliance with insurance information and billing requirements
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting with 2 years in Patient Access and/or billing
  • Certification such as CHAA or CHAM preferred
  • Expert knowledge of insurance processing, medical terminology, and billing codes
  • Proficiency in EPIC ADT system and Microsoft Office products
