Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Patient Access Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform insurance verification and obtain necessary authorizations for scheduled services
- Schedule patient appointments for imaging services and provide necessary prep instructions
- Manage clerical tasks including monitoring communications and maintaining patient logs
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED required
- At least 6 months of experience in a Patient Access Coordinator role
- Strong customer service or client relations experience in an office or hospital setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with HCA/Parallon IT systems preferred
