Job Summary

To support families in accessing mental health care, the full-time Senior Patient Access Coordinator will engage with patients remotely, ensuring they are informed and prepared for their intake appointments while addressing any barriers to care.

Key responsibilities
  • Partner with families to prepare them for appointments and educate them about the admissions process
  • Conduct outreach and reminder communications to enhance appointment attendance and reduce no-show rates
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to facilitate smooth transitions through the admissions process and track patient readiness
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral health, healthcare administration, social services, or a related field preferred
  • 4-8 years of relevant professional experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or patient engagement
  • Experience working directly with patients, families, or caregivers
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency with technology platforms and electronic documentation systems
  • Demonstrated ability to engage diverse individuals with empathy and professionalism
