Senior Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

Performing a range of registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and billing duties, the full-time Senior Patient Access Representative will support both inpatient and outpatient access to medical services while working remotely on a schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct admissions, registration, and scheduling activities, ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information is entered into the system
• Verify patient insurance coverage, obtain necessary authorizations, and inform patients about financial assistance options
• Assist in training new employees and follow up on open self-pay accounts for collection purposes

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in patient access services
