Senior Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Senior Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct follow-up activities on patient accounts to resolve outstanding balances
• Assist in training new or existing staff to enhance productivity and quality
• Compile and analyze data to address payer and account issues effectively

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 2-5 years of experience in medical/hospital insurance collections
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
• Intermediate knowledge of insurance billing and collections terminology
• Minimum typing requirement of 45 words per minute
