Senior Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

To support the Revenue Integrity department, the full-time Senior Patient Account Representative will manage patient processing and accounts receivable functions, including billing, follow-up, and denial resolution, while working remotely from specific states.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform patient scheduling, registration, and charge entry, ensuring accurate data entry into the billing system
• Handle billing inquiries and documentation requests, while maintaining records of charges and payments
• Initiate follow-up with patients and insurance carriers regarding claims and denials, and assist in payment posting and credit balance resolution

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years of experience in Medical Billing, Medical Collections, or Medical Billing Systems (IDX or similar)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
