Senior Payables Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Payables Analyst to join their Accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional process design and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen internal controls
• Own month-end close activities, including financial statement variance analysis and process efficiencies
• Monitor credits and funds owed, partnering with Treasury on cash optimization and payment processing

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field; industry certifications and/or graduate degree preferred
• 3-5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related business function with knowledge of GAAP
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience using analytics tools; SQL knowledge is a plus
• Strong process-improvement mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and stakeholder-management skills, capable of managing multiple projects
