Senior Payer Contract Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payer Contract Manager Sr.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement contracts with third-party payers for Clinical Laboratory Services
• Lead negotiations with assigned payers on various reimbursement models
• Evaluate payer relationships to improve revenue and access to patients while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, healthcare administration, or related field, or 10+ years of equivalent experience in payer contracting
• Minimum seven years of experience in financial/medical data analysis or contract negotiation in a healthcare environment
• Experience in acute care settings is preferred
• Familiarity with medical and pricing terminology such as DRG, RUG, APC, RVU, and conversion factors
