Senior Payer Policy Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Payer Policy Analyst to assist in policy and alliance development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with state Medicaid contacts to enhance reimbursement for genetic testing
• Monitor payer policy updates and act as a liaison between medical directors and payer medical directors
• Assist in the development of policy strategies and advocate company positions on regulatory proposals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 5 years of work experience (or 7 years without a degree)
• Strong preference for an advanced degree (MBA, JD, M.A. / M.S., CGC, RN)
• Prior experience in developing State Medicaid relationships and reimbursements for genetic testing
• Experience with insurance guidelines and payer policy
• Experience in healthcare revenue cycle processes including claims and billing compliance
