Senior Payer Policy Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Payer Policy Analyst, responsible for assisting with policy and alliance development activities related to payer policy and reimbursement issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management teams to understand technologies and provide insights on payer policy
• Attend payer meetings to communicate policy concerns and monitor updates impacting revenue
• Assist in developing policy positions and advocate for company interests regarding legislation and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 5 years of relevant work experience (or 7 years without a degree)
• Strong preference for an advanced degree (MBA, JD, M.A./M.S., etc.)
• Prior experience in genetic counseling or clinical/business settings
• Familiarity with insurance guidelines and payer policy
• Experience with healthcare revenue cycle processes such as coding and claims management
