Senior Payer Policy Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Payer Policy Analyst to assist with policy and alliance development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management teams to understand technologies and provide insights on payer policy
• Attend payer meetings to communicate policy concerns and monitor payer policy updates
• Assist in developing responses and strategies on key legislative and regulatory issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 5 years of relevant work experience (or 7 years of work experience without a degree)
• Prior experience in genetic counseling and prior authorizations
• Experience in a clinical or business setting
• Familiarity with insurance guidelines and payer policy
• Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management
