Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Payer Relations Specialist who will manage payor follow-up and appeals of denied claims to increase collections from insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve reimbursement issues by communicating with payors and internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with the Market Access team to support revenue growth and manage billing processes
• Analyze claims data and stay updated on payor policies to ensure accurate reimbursement

Required Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in billing, coding, and reimbursement in the CLIA laboratory services sector
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance reimbursement processes
• Proficient in CMS guidelines and medical billing practices
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare billing software
