Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare recovery team, the full-time Senior Payment Accuracy Specialist will develop and implement audit concepts, oversee audit quality control, and mentor audit staff while working in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Generates and develops new audit concepts, collaborating with clients to gain acceptance and expand approval
  • Directs ownership for quality control by reviewing auditor claims and ensuring adherence to expected quality and quantity standards
  • Actively trains and mentors audit team members on executing basic to complex audit projects
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with three years of direct audit experience or four years of related experience in healthcare billing or medical claims
  • Experience using SQL is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and system databases
  • Ability to mentor staff and enhance their performance related to audit quality and productivity
  • Prior healthcare billing and/or claims experience is desired
