Job Summary
To enhance healthcare payment integrity, the full-time Senior Payment Accuracy Specialist will develop and implement audit concepts, train audit teams, and ensure quality control of audit projects while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Generates and develops new audit concepts, collaborating with clients to gain acceptance and expand initiatives
- Directs quality control processes by reviewing auditor claims and ensuring adherence to expected standards
- Mentors and trains audit staff to execute various levels of audit projects, fostering professional development
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred with three years of direct audit experience or four years of related experience in healthcare billing or analytics
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, and system databases
- Ability to mentor staff and enhance their performance related to audit quality and productivity
- Prior healthcare billing and/or claims experience with knowledge of industry standards
- Excellent communication skills for effective client and team interactions
