Senior Payments Consulting Manager

Job Summary

To support the Payment Consulting team, the full-time Senior Payments Consulting Manager will drive go-to-market initiatives for Amex debit capabilities, manage relationships with external partners, and enhance transaction processing experiences, with options for fully virtual or hybrid work arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead go-to-market initiatives to promote Amex debit capabilities in the acceptance channel
• Develop and maintain relationships with key external debit partners while providing technical expertise
• Present strategic recommendations and insights to internal stakeholders and leadership teams

Required qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in U.S. debit card processing with a focus on acceptance channel technology
• Strong project management skills with a proven track record in managing cross-functional projects
• Experience negotiating complex contracts with partners and customers
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience required
• Ability to lead through ambiguity and influence stakeholders without direct authority
