Senior Payments Processing Specialist

Job Summary

To support a dedicated team, the full-time Senior Payments Processing Specialist will train payment team members, ensure accurate recording of payments, and monitor reports to align with established goals in a flexible remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Train payment team members, including offshore teams, and address clarification questions
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of payments from various sources, including patients and insurance companies
• Monitor daily reports and conduct audits to maintain alignment with payment posting goals

Required qualifications

• High school education or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of revenue cycle experience, particularly in payments posting
• Proficiency in Excel, including calculations, filtering, and sorting
• Familiarity with medical billing software and Microsoft 365 for Business
• Strong typing and calculation accuracy skills
