Senior Payroll Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Payroll Accountant to join their Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the end-to-end processing of payroll for employees using systems like BambooHR and Zedra
• Prepare and post complex payroll journal entries, ensuring accurate allocation across departments
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation of all payroll-related GL accounts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related quantitative field
• 4-7 years of progressive experience in end-to-end payroll processing, preferably for a global organization
• Proficiency in standard business software suites, including Google Workspace
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP principles related to payroll accounting and GL reconciliation
