Senior Payroll Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant - Payroll.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review global payroll journal entries and maintain payroll accruals in accordance with GAAP
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and prepare financial statement flux analysis for payroll-related accounts
• Coordinate with various departments for payroll accounting processes and support financial audits and compliance efforts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or active CPA candidacy preferred
• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in payroll accounting within a global organization
• Knowledge of GAAP and experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle
• Experience with payroll platforms and third-party providers; intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills required
• Familiarity with multi-jurisdiction payroll tax compliance and international statutory reporting is a plus
