Job Summary
To support end-to-end payroll operations, the full-time Senior Payroll Analyst will ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing for employees across multiple U.S. states and Canada while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Validate multi-state and local tax withholdings, ensuring accuracy of payroll tax calculations and employee earnings
- Conduct pre and post payroll audits, review payroll data, and resolve payroll/tax errors for compliant processing
- Monitor legislative changes and update payroll/tax systems accordingly while collaborating with HR, Finance, and Legal teams
Required qualifications
- A minimum of 3+ years of payroll tax experience, preferably with multi-state taxes
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis
- Excellent computer skills, including payroll software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
