Job Summary
Experienced payroll professionals will find a full-time remote opportunity as a Senior Payroll Analyst, responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for US and Canadian employees, managing equity compensation payroll, and ensuring compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Own end-to-end payroll operations for US and Canadian employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll inputs
- Act as the primary payroll point of contact for employees and stakeholders, resolving inquiries with professionalism and urgency
- Lead payroll system operations in Workday, including configuration, reporting, and troubleshooting in collaboration with HRIS
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing payroll in Workday, with a focus on full-cycle payroll for US and Canadian employees
- Deep understanding of equity compensation payroll, including RSU, NSO, and ISO taxation and reporting requirements
- Experience supporting month-end close, including journal entry preparation and reconciliation of payroll-related GL accounts
- Strong knowledge of US payroll tax laws and Canadian payroll regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
