Senior Payroll Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Payroll Analyst to manage end-to-end US payroll processes and lead complex payroll initiatives in a full-time remote capacity, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance payroll operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee execution of recurring US payroll cycles, including audits, reconciliations, and reporting
• Lead payroll initiatives from scoping through delivery, partnering with various departments to achieve durable outcomes
• Act as a process owner to diagnose issues, design scalable solutions, and translate payroll challenges into actionable improvements

Required qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience processing complex, multi-state US payroll independently
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with modern payroll and HCM platforms, such as ADP or Workday HCM
• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including complex formulas and large-dataset reconciliation
• Experience collaborating with HRIS, Accounting, Tax, and other departments on payroll-related projects
