Senior Payroll Analyst

Job Summary

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the full-time Senior Payroll Analyst will manage payroll processing for a remote team, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, entering employee data, calculating payroll, and generating reports.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and review payroll processing systems for timely and accurate payroll transactions
• Compute and audit taxable wage calculations and ensure accurate processing of payroll updates
• Support state tax filings and reporting for multiple entities while addressing employee inquiries related to payroll

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience with multi-state, multi-entity payroll operations, preferably with modern HRIS platforms
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing and tax reconciliation
• Experience in a high-growth environment with solid understanding of tax laws and compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
