Senior Payroll Analyst

Job Summary

To support payroll operations, the full-time Senior Payroll Analyst will provide advanced technical and analytical expertise in payroll and timekeeping systems, focusing on system configuration, reporting, compliance, and process improvement while working remotely from an approved state.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert for payroll and timekeeping systems, ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance
• Lead the design, configuration, and testing of payroll system functionality, including upgrades and integrations
• Analyze payroll data to identify trends and compliance risks, providing recommendations for continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field
• Five years of progressive payroll experience with a focus on analytical and technical functions
• Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems in an analytical or systems-support capacity
• Preferred: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent certification
• Preferred: Previous healthcare and union payroll experience
