Senior Payroll Manager

Job Summary

Owning end-to-end payroll delivery for the United States and Canada, the full-time Senior Payroll Manager will manage a team of payroll professionals, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll operations while driving continuous improvement and serving as the primary escalation point for payroll discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full payroll cycle for US and Canadian employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Manage payroll technology systems, including Workday Payroll and ADP Smart Compliance, to enhance operational efficiency
• Lead and develop a team of payroll professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and accuracy

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on payroll experience in the US and Canada, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Deep knowledge of US multi-state payroll tax compliance and Canadian payroll regulations
• Experience managing RSU and equity payroll processes from vesting to reconciliation
• Strong command of payroll reconciliation and general ledger mapping
• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or equivalent certification preferred
