Senior Payroll Manager

Job Summary

Owning global payroll end-to-end, the full-time salaried Senior Payroll Manager will manage payroll processing for over 500 employees across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance and accuracy while building and scaling payroll systems and controls in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for US employees and global EOR populations, ensuring timely and compliant payments
• Manage payroll tax compliance and readiness for expansion into new states and countries, advising on payroll infrastructure needs
• Design and document payroll controls and workflows, serving as the primary contact for audits and external compliance requirements

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on payroll experience with end-to-end ownership of US multi-state payroll
• Direct experience administering payroll in Rippling, including EOR populations
• Working knowledge of US multi-state tax regulations and payroll compliance
• Experience managing payroll through EOR and local provider models
• Familiarity with equity payroll mechanics and stock plan administration
