Senior Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage multi-state payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate, prepare, and complete multi-state payroll using Workday
• Lead the payroll team to ensure timely completion of payroll tasks
• Perform internal audits and resolve payroll tax notices in a timely manner

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• At least four years of experience in multi-state payroll for 5,000 or more employees
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred
• Experience with ADP Smart Compliance and Workday
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and payroll processing regulations
