Senior Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Processing Senior Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage US and International payroll processing while ensuring compliance with SOX and internal controls
• Load and enter payroll data, review reports for discrepancies, and troubleshoot payroll system errors
• Prepare overpayment calculations, support audits, and ensure timely payroll submissions

Required Qualifications

• Prior high volume payroll experience with a computerized payroll system
• Advanced knowledge of multi-state payroll processing
• Understanding of payroll operations, including time and attendance and payroll tax
• Familiarity with payroll processing for employees under collective bargaining agreements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software (SAP, ADP, Kronos)
