Senior Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist Senior - Workday Payroll.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews, analyzes, and verifies payroll reports for accuracy and initiates quality assurance reviews
• Acts as a subject matter expert, analyzing complex payroll matters and providing guidance on policies and regulations
• Prepares and files various local, state, and federal payroll forms and responds to agency requests

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC) required
• Minimum of 4+ years of payroll experience
• Strong knowledge of payroll principles, practices, and applicable regulations
• Understanding of basic accounting practices and procedures
• Experience in evaluating and analyzing technical payroll activities
