Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and maintain weekly and bi-weekly multi-state payrolls, ensuring accuracy in payments and deductions
- Review payroll computations and handle employee inquiries regarding payroll issues
- Prepare tax filings, audit reports, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on payroll activities
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 4 years of payroll experience in a fast-paced corporate environment
- Significant experience with multi-state payrolls and payroll taxes
- Deep understanding of U.S. payroll principles and multi-state tax regulations
- Strong proficiency in modern payroll and HRIS systems, with advanced Excel skills
