Senior Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

To support the accounting team, the full-time Senior Payroll Specialist will manage the full-cycle payroll process, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and oversee equity administration while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle payroll process, including data entry, tax withholdings, and benefits deductions
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations through accurate payroll activities
• Facilitate the issuance and management of equity awards, ensuring proper execution and recording

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 5+ years of payroll and accounting experience, including multi-state payroll management
• Proficiency in payroll/HRIS and equity management platforms (e.g., Rippling, Fidelity, E*TRADE)
• Solid understanding of various equity vehicles, including RSUs, NSOs, ISOs, and ESPPs
• Proven ability to handle sensitive executive compensation and employee financial data with discretion
