Senior Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

Leading biweekly payroll processing for U.S. salaried and hourly employees, the full-time Senior Payroll Specialist will manage the entire payroll cycle, address employee inquiries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end biweekly U.S. payroll processing, including equity-related payroll tasks
• Compile and validate payroll input data from multiple sources for accuracy before each cycle
• Resolve employee payroll inquiries promptly and perform root cause analysis to prevent future issues

Required qualifications:

• Experience with multi-state payroll processing and compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Proven track record in processing payroll for employees receiving equity compensation
• Hands-on proficiency with payroll platforms and HRIS integrations in high-volume settings
• Ability to independently resolve complex payroll issues with documented outcomes
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, and Atlassian tools for collaboration and case management
