Job Summary
To support payroll operations for a dynamic healthcare team, the temporary Senior Payroll Specialist will process payroll accurately and timely, assist employees with payroll-related inquiries, and run standard payroll reports, all while ensuring compliance with regulations in a full-time capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Perform accurate payroll processing and maintain complete payroll files while ensuring confidentiality
- Audit and analyze payroll reports to identify and correct issues or errors
- Handle payroll-related customer inquiries and collaborate across departments to resolve issues effectively
Required qualifications
- Minimum of five years of progressive experience in payroll processing, with knowledge of payroll taxes and employee inquiries
- Bachelor's degree preferred, along with CPP certification
- Experience with multi-state payroll and wage garnishment
- Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
- Knowledge of labor laws and internal control procedures related to payroll
