Senior Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated individual, the full-time Senior Payroll Specialist will manage biweekly payroll processing, maintain payroll records, and ensure compliance with payroll tax laws while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Federal and State payroll tax and wage and hour laws
• Reconcile payroll processing data and collaborate with Payroll Leadership prior to final transmission
• Act as the point of contact for payroll inquiries from internal and external customers

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
• 6+ years of payroll experience in a similar capacity within an organization of over 2000 employees
• Experience with Workday Payroll and Time Tracking preferred
• In-depth knowledge of multistate payroll laws, including California
