Job Summary
Seeking a motivated individual, the full-time Senior Payroll Specialist will manage biweekly payroll processing, maintain payroll records, and ensure compliance with payroll tax laws while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Federal and State payroll tax and wage and hour laws
- Reconcile payroll processing data and collaborate with Payroll Leadership prior to final transmission
- Act as the point of contact for payroll inquiries from internal and external customers
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
- 6+ years of payroll experience in a similar capacity within an organization of over 2000 employees
- Experience with Workday Payroll and Time Tracking preferred
- In-depth knowledge of multistate payroll laws, including California
