Senior Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

To support a dynamic payroll team, the remote Senior Payroll Specialist will manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance and accuracy for a large employee population on a 12-month contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll from start to finish for a large employee population
• Manage payroll cycles, audits, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of end-to-end payroll processing experience
• Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, earnings, deductions, and Time & Attendance
• Experience independently managing payroll operations and assigned workloads
• Understanding of payroll compliance and multi-state payroll processes
• Experience working in medium to large organizations
