Senior Payroll Specialist (CPP Preferred)

Job Summary

Supporting the delivery of accurate and timely payroll across the United States, the full-time Senior Payroll Specialist (CPP Preferred) will manage end-to-end payroll processing, oversee key components of the payroll lifecycle, and contribute to the evolution of the Global Payroll function in a remote capacity with a preference for candidates located near the Chicago area.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end payroll processing across multiple US pay groups, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Administer complex pay components, including commissions and bonuses, while maintaining SOX-compliant documentation
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to standardization and automation efforts within the payroll function

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in US payroll operations (multi-state, multi-entity)
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field
• Strong experience with ADP platforms and advanced knowledge of US payroll regulations
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end payroll processes with accountability
• CPP certification is strongly preferred
