Job Summary
To ensure compliance with tax regulations, the full-time Senior Payroll Tax Analyst will oversee payroll tax filings, conduct audits, and serve as the primary liaison with tax authorities while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the timely and accurate filing of federal, state, provincial, and local payroll tax returns
- Perform regular audits and reconciliations of payroll tax setups to resolve discrepancies
- Act as the primary point of contact for tax authorities and address executive escalations
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Payroll or Payroll tax management
- Strong knowledge of enterprise payroll software, specifically Workday
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for translating complex payroll data
- Preferred certifications include Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)
