Senior Pega Developer
Job Summary
To support a Department of Veterans Affairs Pega Cloud modernization effort, the remote Senior Pega Developer will design, configure, test, and sustain complex workflow capabilities while mentoring less-experienced developers and resolving complex defects.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement complex Pega case types, workflows, and integrations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and resolve implementation dependencies
- Analyze and resolve complex defects involving workflows, rules, and performance issues
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of software or enterprise application development experience, including 4+ years of hands-on Pega development experience
- Strong knowledge of Pega case management, workflows, and security integrations
- Experience implementing complex business rules in a configuration-first environment
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and data mapping
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline
