Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Penetration Tester will independently conduct penetration testing of applications and systems, identify security flaws, and develop strategies to mitigate cybersecurity risks.
Key responsibilities
- Perform application and network penetration testing and wireless security assessments
- Apply offensive cybersecurity testing techniques and coordinate testing projects with system owners
- Report identified cybersecurity risks and recommend risk mitigation measures to enhance the enterprise's cybersecurity posture
Required qualifications
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
- Minimum three (3) years of experience with testing tools such as NESSUS, METASPLOIT, and Burp Suite
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in network vulnerability assessments and penetration testing methods
- Possess a certification in penetration testing, such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or Licensed Penetration Tester (LPT)
- Required to have a DOD SECRET Clearance and eligibility for an IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance
