Senior PeopleSoft HCM Consultant

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant will provide advanced consultative services for a large-scale PeopleSoft implementation, acting as the primary contact for HR/Payroll modules while overseeing system configurations, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the functional design phase and configure PeopleSoft features, including foundational tables and Approval Workflow Engine
• Serve as the functional expert for Workforce Administration and HR Security, translating public sector HR policies into system configurations
• Oversee ACA compliance processes, including reporting and interface file generation, while ensuring adherence to IRS regulations

Required qualifications

• 15 years of experience with public sector policies and federal labor laws
• 12 years of experience performing system configuration changes within PeopleSoft HCM version 9.2
• 10 years of public sector experience supporting a large network of government agencies
• 10 years of experience providing Tier 2 Service Desk Support alongside a Managed Services vendor
• 10 years of experience preparing WCAG 2.1-compliant materials for distribution
