Senior Perception Engineer

Job Summary

To develop and productize autonomous driving solutions, the full-time Senior Perception Engineer will design end-to-end perception systems for road network detection, improve model robustness and accuracy, and drive data-driven development while working remotely or onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions for perception and autonomous vehicle stack to enable road network detections in various driving environments
• Conduct applied research and development of innovative deep learning models for lane graph construction and traffic element recognition
• Drive data-driven development by collaborating with data collection teams to maximize the value of data for improving perception system accuracy

Required qualifications

• PhD with 4+ years, MS with 6+ years, or BS with 8+ years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of technical leadership experience in complex projects
• Hands-on experience in developing deep learning algorithms and proficiency in frameworks like PyTorch
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++
• Experience in data-driven development and collaboration with data teams
